Over the last 27 years, Susie Stewart has worked with young children, either in a formal setting or in her licensed

Child Development Home aboard the various military installations around the country and abroad. 

​

She has received extensive training in Early Childhood, to include CPR and first aid, child abuse, communication with parents and children, nutrition and food handling, health and safety, business, and numerous other classes to enhance her knowledge of

Early Childhood Education. 

​

This has all been done under the expertise of the Marine Corps Family Childcare Services,

Marine Corps Community Services, Navy Child and Youth Program and other entities offering training. 

​

Susie Stewart has completed and received numerous certificates to include the following: 

Credentials I and II, completed all 13 modules of family childcare, and participated in numerous classes in Early Childhood Education. 

​

In 2010, she graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

​

In giving back to the community, she has received a number of Certificates of Appreciation for

volunteer services aboard the different installations and communities she has lived in. 

​

In 1998, she received the Provider of the Year award, and in 1999, she received the Key Volunteer of the Year award.

She has volunteered for numerous organizations and programs to include her church, the Red Cross, Girl Scouts, and Toys for Tots.

Susie Stewart has a passion and love to help children of all ages meet their physical, mental, social, and intellectual growth. 

​

In order to meet the needs of the whole child, she is committed to a high quality faith based program with an environment that the parent and child will feel secure, happy, and safe to be in. The staff will be supported through ongoing training and the necessary resources to create a high quality program.

​

Susie has been married to Oscar for 29 years.  

They have 3 adult children: Jennifer, 36, who is married to Donald, Bryan, 28, and Angela, 26.  

​

Daniel is their 5 year old grandson, and the newest addition is Dillion who is 2 years old.
